Acrylic road marking paint is used to create lines, traffic markings and can be made reflective with the use of reflective glass beads.
Solvent based alkyd is a single component, quick drying, high build and modified alkyd polymer. Road & line marking paints are designed to be used on Asphalt/Tarmac, bituminous road surfaces and concrete as well as on interlocking tiles surfaces. It is used specially for apron and runway marking where no dust particles are required due to safety of air craft. In conventional thermoplastic marking dust particles are available due to normal wear and tear of road marking application which is harmful for aircrafts.
